What is on a listing?
Times, engine and prop history, avionics, mods, damage history and photos, from the day it goes up. No "call for details."
Can I read the logbooks?
Yes. We scan the logbooks and run them through OCR, so the entries are searchable text next to the page images.
How are prices set?
Every asking price is modeled against comparable sales and current listings. Damage history is stated on the listing as facts, and the price already accounts for it.
How does the sale close?
Every deal closes through AIC Title.
How do I see new airplanes first?
Get on the buyer list on the Looking to Buy page. Buyers on the list see the full listing before it hits Trade-A-Plane.
Selling
I want to sell my airplane. What do you need?
The tail number and a way to reach you. We pull the FAA record, run comps and damage history, and come back with a read on it, usually within a business day.
Do I have to call?
